NCM launches remote climate-awareness initiative for schools

StatusReported by Saudi Gazette; the initiative is described as part of an NCM–Ministry of Education cooperation agreement.
The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has launched a remote awareness initiative for schools across the Kingdom. The programme is part of a cooperation agreement between NCM and the Ministry of Education.
The initiative aims to raise students’ awareness of weather, climate and the environment. It will explain meteorological concepts in everyday terms.
The drive also highlights the role of meteorology in protecting lives and property. Students are encouraged to share the messages with their families and communities.

Why this mattersFor a Madinah practice working on hospitality, mixed-use and residential projects, the initiative may help build students’ and families’ understanding of weather and environmental issues relevant to the built environment. The report gives no project, procurement or professional-partnership details, so it does not establish a new approval route or a direct commercial opportunity.
