In Jazan and Asir, the Saudi Border Guard conducted three separate operations resulting in the arrest of 11 individuals for violating the Border Security Law. In Jazan's Al-Da'ir Sector, nine Ethiopian nationals were apprehended for smuggling 240 kilograms of khat. In a separate operation in the same sector, authorities intercepted 249,000 tablets subject to medical circulation regulations and 8 kilograms of hashish. Meanwhile, in Asir's Al-Raboua Sector, two Yemeni nationals were arrested for smuggling 140 kilograms of khat. The suspects and seized items have been handed over to the competent authority after completing initial legal procedures.
