Elegancia Arabia Secures SAR 829 Million Contract for Qiddiya Stadium
Elegancia Arabia Trading, a part of the Contracting and Industries segment of Estithmar Holding Q.P.S.C., has secured a SAR 829 million contract for the mechanical package of the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia. The project, marking Elegancia's largest in the Kingdom to date, will be executed by Elegancia Electromechanical Services. It includes the delivery of key mechanical and building systems such as HVAC, public health, firefighting, and Building Management System (BMS) packages. Scheduled from September 2026 to May 2030, the project is expected to involve approximately 3,000 Elegancia employees. The stadium, located about 40 minutes from Riyadh, is a major sports and entertainment venue designated for the FIFA World Cup 2034. Built on the Tuwaiq cliff, it will accommodate around 47,000 football spectators and have an overall event capacity exceeding 60,900. The venue will feature a retractable roof, pitch, and LED wall, along with over 50,000 square metres of retail, dining, and entertainment space. Elegancia will deploy advanced, energy-efficient systems to support the stadium's climate-controlled environment. The contract is a significant milestone for Elegancia Contracting and Industries, enhancing their presence in Saudi Arabia's construction market and aligning with Vision 2030 objectives.
