Twenty years of drawing, and the buildings to show for it.
ARTIFEX GROUP is an architecture and development practice working across Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkey. This page is the profile in full — who we are, what we have built, and where to find us. The complete portfolio is below as a PDF.
A team, and a family.
Artifex Group is an international architecture and development firm. We create architectural solutions that improve the places where people live, work and learn. Our team is a family of professionals united by one idea: think boldly, design creatively, build with purpose. We do not repeat — we invent, rethink and reimagine.
Our mission is to generate ideas that make the environment more comfortable, meaningful and inspiring. For us architecture is not about form alone; it is about shaping spaces that bring real value to people and communities. Every space we design is a contribution to the future — rooted in quality, inspired by purpose, shaped by creativity. We do not build only for the present; we build for the generations to come.

Building beside the Prophet's Mosque.
Hotel Mirage — a contemporary retreat adjacent to the Prophet's Mosque, distinguished by a perforated white façade that shields the interior from the sun while keeping the rooms private and cool.
Hotel Mirage 2 — a high-rise on a prime plot beside the Haram, defined by a dark glass façade, soaring vertical lines and pointed arches that pay homage to traditional Islamic geometry, with sweeping curves and cascading green terraces.
Alfaf Mixed-Use Complex — inward-looking architecture that integrates Hijazi heritage with contemporary expression: residential blocks with wooden mashrabiyas and stone arches arranged around a central courtyard raised above the commercial podium.
Wareef Residential Complex — overlooking Wadi Al Qanat, a terraced design that maximises panoramic views, daylight and cross-ventilation, with shaded pathways and communal space at ground level.
Al Hijrah Walkway — three kilometres of elevated linear park and commercial promenade that turns a roadway into a green spine and separates pedestrians from traffic.
Concepts that reached presidents.
The New Shymkent Concept (Kazakhstan, Koshkar-Ata) — an urban redevelopment along the Koshkar-Ata canal, presented to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and approved. A people-centric plan integrating kindergartens, schools, hospitals and sports facilities.
Artifex Leisure Park Complex (Uzbekistan) — a ten-hectare commercial and entertainment complex, presented personally to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a model for a new generation of multi-functional public space.
Tashkent City Centre — a signature public space intended to anchor downtown Tashkent, capable of hosting major events while remaining open for informal gathering.
Innovation and Technology Centre — a circular building whose form stands for unity and continuous growth, with a central atrium as the hub of interaction; a place for students and creators to develop their projects and find mentorship.
Luna Park, Termez Park, MITC Centre, the Uzbekneftegaz concept and the transformation of an ageing residential quarter in Tashkent's Mirzo Ulugbek district into a new commercial street.
