LEAD Development, an Abu Dhabi-based developer, has unveiled RIMAS at LIVEX 2026, a luxury residential community on Jubail Island. RIMAS is positioned among mangrove preserves, waterfront paths, and open green spaces, offering a tranquil island living experience. The community includes an elevated promenade, resort-style pool, beachfront gym, wellbeing centre, community beach, kayak station, sports courts, and various trails linking to the wider Jubail Island Mangrove Park and Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts.

RIMAS comprises 167 villas, including 76 four-bedroom, 76 five-bedroom, and 15 six-bedroom homes, with plot sizes ranging from approximately 850 to 1,716 square metres. The development spans approximately 542,351 square metres, located between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island, about 20 minutes from Zayed International Airport and Downtown Abu Dhabi. The architecture of RIMAS follows the natural contours of the site, featuring two exterior palettes, Breeze and Ember, and interior palettes Sienna and Ash.

Mounir Haidar, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of LEAD Development, stated that RIMAS reflects their vision for community living in Abu Dhabi, emphasizing the quality of the environment, community strength, and everyday life richness. The unveiling at LIVEX signifies confidence in Abu Dhabi's real estate market and its vision to become one of the world's most liveable cities.

Jubail Island is entering a more established phase, with over 1,000 homes handed over across its six villages and community amenities now open. Education on the island is expanding with the Redwood Center of Excellence Nursery & Kindergarten now open and Gordonstoun School set to follow. Marsa Al Jubail adds a marina and yacht club, while Souk Al Jubail offers new dining, beauty, and wellness outlets.

Why this mattersFor developers in Madinah, the launch of RIMAS on Jubail Island highlights the growing trend of integrating luxury living with natural environments. This could influence future residential projects in Madinah, especially those near natural landmarks or waterfronts. The emphasis on community and wellbeing amenities may also set a benchmark for similar developments in the region.
