Tecnimont and CCC Sign Contract for Safaniyah Project

Tecnimont and Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) have formally signed the contract for the Safaniyah Water Injection Project in Saudi Arabia, following approval from Saudi Aramco. The contract was signed in Al Khobar by Daniele Quintarelli, Regional Vice President of Tecnimont, and Hisham Kawash, Regional Managing Director of CCC. The Safaniyah Water Injection Project is part of Saudi Aramco’s upstream development plans and is aimed at supporting water injection infrastructure associated with the Safaniyah development. Under the contract, CCC will undertake project execution and construction activities, leveraging its construction capabilities, technical expertise and experience in major Oil & Gas developments in Saudi Arabia. The project is considered an important addition to CCC’s portfolio in the Kingdom and further strengthens its relationship with Tecnimont, which is delivering the project for Saudi Aramco. The contract signing marks another milestone in the ongoing collaboration between Tecnimont and CCC and reinforces CCC’s position as an execution partner for major Oil & Gas projects in Saudi Arabia. The Safaniyah development is strategically significant to Saudi Aramco’s upstream operations, while the water injection project forms part of the infrastructure supporting the development of the field. Both companies highlighted their commitment to safe mobilization, disciplined project execution and successful delivery of the project.
